My Ryzen 3 desktop M01-f0033w just stopped work and has no power. Changed cords, different outlet, still nothing. Everything else that was on powerstrip is fine. Hoping to save it by replacing power supply but would like to know the best place to buy from. TIA.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
Your HP Desktop - M01-F0033w (6YR55AA), as fitted with an Erica2 motherboard (SSID: 8643), according to HP PartSurfer, was/is fitted with a 180-watt power supply with p/n: L08660-800 -please verify.
If that is the case, I would recommend getting a more powerful power supply replacement, such as a 400-watt PSU with p/n: L04618-800. No worries: your desktop will happily accept more power (wattage) and will only use what it needs.
Reasons (as in plural) being: a 180-watt replacement power supply would cost you more than a 400-watt power supply and upgrading to a 400-watt power supply will allow you to upgrade your desktop with a decent graphics card if you were to choose to do that at some point in time.
You can purchase a 400-watt power supply online, such as via a trusted "Top Rated Plus" eBay Seller for just $59.59: https://www.ebay.com/itm/155585566114?itmmeta=01HYS503QJB904AH2WCQ54W3XQ&hash=item24399f55a2%3Ag%3Au....
Hope this was helpful.

The 500-watt power supply (p/n: L05757-800) will give you more (future) graphics cards upgrade options, which is nice to have.
So, yes, in my personal opinion it would be worth having.
