My computer is missing the power cord. Whenever I search for compatible power cords, I keep getting linked to adapters for HP laptops. What type of power cord is needed for this desktop? Thanks!

Hi:
Below is the link to the parts list for your PC.

The reason you are finding links for HP notebook PC's is that your PC uses a notebook-type power adapter and cord.
The adapter and power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter are sold separately.
What I recommend you do is to search by the HP part number for the adapter on eBay and find a genuine used but tested and working adapter that also comes with the power cord.
I did a search by the first adapter part number listed on the above parts list, and found these items for sale.
I see a genuine adapter and cord listed for sale for $15.00

You can buy the adapter and cord new at the HP parts store, but they will be very expensive.
