HPE H8-1300Z
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My H8-1300z has the Delta  power supply model number DPS-300AB-73 A in it.  On the label it has 667893-001 for the part number.   Now my question is what's the difference between this part number and 667893-003?  I see the 003's for sale online more than the 001 but generally when I see the 001 the model number is different.  The male input of the power plug is broken on my current one but it still holds the power cord so the computer is usable.  But I'd like to buy a new (most likely refurbished) and want to be sure that if I get the -003 for my model number I gave it will fit and work.

I think too is a standard ATX, because your motherboard use standard ATX power.
And I don't know if it exist different revisions for your original power supply but like I have say if it is good dimensions you can use an other ATX power supply, you just need to have at least your actual power (in watts) and check your connectors (SATA an others).

A standard ATX power supply makes 150 millimeters in wide and 86 millimeters in height.

Hello, do you have find your maintenance and service manual?? I don't find this so I don't have this references for your computer..

However, I don't understand your question: do you just check a new power cord or do you want to replace all your power supply??

I don't have the maintenance and service manual.  What I found online when I looked wasn't helpful.

I want to buy a new power supply.  The male plug in the current one broke were one side of the plug that screws onto the metal frame broke off.  So the plug is only being held on by one screw.  So I'd like to replace the entire power supply even though it is still functional.  But my main concern/question is that most power supplies I've seen online for sale have -003 on the end of the part number where mine has -001.  I want to know if this makes a difference between the two power supplies so that I won't have to worry about it fitting correctly and having the proper plugs on it.

I don't know because I don't found your PC's maintenance manual, but probably the country from the power supply.. Probably 001 for USA..

What is your power supply's connector and format?? If it is a standard ATX Power supply you don't need to use the original reference..

Yes, it is a standard ATX power supply as far as I know.  I was suspecting that the different suffix's (001 vice 003) were either referencing a slightly newer/revised version or like you mention something to do with the country.
