MY HP800 computer makes weird (but tiny) sound even when it is in sleep or turned off,
it's not nice to unplug it from electricity. It seems noise is coming from PSU.
Is it possible to change this 240W for a more powerful one (that would be good for GPU upgrade too?
This selection would be compatible with HP800?
Do you have any tips which would be very silent (especially when computer would not be overloader or shutdown)
and also have a very good price+quality?
Something like this maybe?

You need to get the part number from the actual PSU. Then look it up.
Those units have a proprietary PSU wiring. It is not a standard ATX PSU.

Current integrated PSU in HP800 SFF is:
-MODEL is D12-240P3A
-PART NUMBER is 702308-002
-SPARE NUMBER is 751 885-001
What would happen if I put in 35W or 75W GPU and maximum power at a particular moment would exceed 240W?
Would it damage computer?

PSU is available, varied used, refurb , and new.
The PSU should handle upto a 75W PCIE card.

Which compatible HP PSU model could I buy with more than 240W?
I read that HP has 320W HP PSU that is compatible with HP800G1 SFF.
I also read that my COMPUTER and PSU can safely handle up to 35W GPU cards, at least with a little laymans research I made, and also I found out that it is at least approximately like that:
PSU is not 100% efficient, 240W is PEAK measurement, actual average PSU power might be about 200W, plus I will probably add another SSD(so both would take about 20W, all 4 RAM slots are now filled-about 20W,
motherboard takes about 20W, i5 takes about 80W, and if I added 35W GPU It might just barely make it to be really safe,
however 75W GPU would seem too much if I wanted to really be on the safe side..
Am I wrong?
