I have purchased a new(er) graphics card to replace the one that I have. I need a power supply with two PCIe power connectors and my current supply only has one. Been trying to find a valid HP part number so I can order one.

@daveydoo , welcome to the Community.
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant. Once I have this information I will help you further.

Thank you for the additional information, @daveydoo!
Unfortunately, HP doesn't provide the Product Specifications for their Configure To Order (CTO) computers. I need the name of the motherboard and the wattage of your current power supply unit (PSU). This will allow me to check further.

There is very little information on either of the motherboards in your computers. I suggest that you contact HP Customer Support to see which of the upgraded PSU's will be compatible with your motherboards.

I know it's been several weeks but wanted to give you an update. I called HP tech support and was going to pay them to give me the information I was searching for but they wanted nothing to do with my issue, or my money. So did some digger deeping and found an OEM supply that works just great. I just had to relocate my HDD as the radeon 7800 was a little too long in it's current location.
For reference I got a 500w supply off ebay.
The one I purchases is HP OEM Power Supply 500W 901759-013 DPS500-32A for Elitedesk 800 G4 G5 Z1It has dual PCIe power, the custom connector for the rother MOBO and all the other power inputs for the CPU etc.

I also took a gamble with the erica 3/5 thing and bought a replacement from the Erica list.

Worked like a charm. Direct fit replacement, clicked right in, same connectors plus a GPU connector. Boom. Thanks for the help.
