I have an HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1022. I installed a NVIDIA graphics card that worked fine for 18 months. I just purchased another one but it requires 230 watts on the power supply. My question is, will a 230 watt power supply simply fit in the TE01-1022 as is?

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
According to your desktop's specs, an HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1022 (13Z69AA) as fitted with a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767), was sold with a 180-watt power supply.
From what you said, it sounds like you will have to upgrade your stock power supply to either a 400-watt PSU (p/n: L69242-800), or a 500-watt PSU, with p/n: L05757-800, both of which can be purchased online, such as via an eBay Seller.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
