Recently whenever I try to use my 870-206na gaming PC I have been getting the error “Power Surge on USB device” I currently am using 3 USBs all gaming equipment, I have noticed no that this system has a 300W power supply so was wondering if I needed to upgrade my power supply. I thought it would be strange a PC like this dying afternoon 2 years so I was wondering fin it’s wiring or a hardware problem too,
anyone who hasn’t experienced the same issue help would Be greatly appreciated

I might also suggest you determine the draw on your external devices.
The use of a non-powered hub (USB splitter) is not advised in this situation.
First the transfer rates: USB 2.0 offers transfer rates of 480 Mbps and USB 3.0 offers transfer rates of 4.8 Gbps - that's 10 times faster. ...
Second the Amperage: USB 2.0 provided up to 500 mA whereas USB 3.0 provides up to 900 mA, allowing power hungry devices to now be bus powered.
On the rear you have 2 USB2 and 2 USB3 ports.
If you PCIEx1 slot is unused, this would give you 4 USB3.0 900ma ports.
