Hi all
I just got my new Omen L30 and try to install an additional SATA device. Unfortunately, i can not find a internal SATA power cable for this device. Does anyone have a clue how to solve that?
Thanks for your help
Peter

HP have none standard PSU😐
like 10,000 post here saying that (just so you know search does work)😍
that means too no PSU ATC power cables from the PSU that simple too the HP PSU has no red wired, 5vdc supply😂
that means HP has this MOBO jack, on the mOBO with 6 pins labeled HDD 2. power.(out) SATA out to 15 pins.
then you get to have fun finding anyone on earth selling this HP only custom cable. ebay can be lucky
do not use generic cables of you blow up the mobo. do not do that.
the cable is 100%^unique to HP, and NON STANDARD OF any world industry orspec.
NO PC TOLD AT ALL BUT IF YOU TOLD THAT TO THE HP PARTS SURFER( GOOGLE IT) IT WILL SHOW THE EXTRA CABLES THERE HP P/N# and discontinued on most. ebay yes using correct HP P/N./ I can not look for you NO PC told full.

Thank you Savvy2 👍😊
I did not find other posts on this issue, maybe because i was asking the wrong questions 😅.
This non standard PSU makes any upgrade difficult.
Have a great time
