HP TouchSmart 310 PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When we moved into this house I found an all in one PC in the loft - without a power cable.

The label on the back says it's a 23-q105na - I can find power cables for a 23-q103na but not sure if it would be suitable.

The input on the back says 19.5Vdc___6.15A

Could someone possible provide a link for the correct power lead please ?

HP site unable to help - they say it's a retired product

Serial No. [Personal Information Removed]

Product No.  P1K69EA#ABU

Thanks

Looks like you need the 120 watt adapter

A parts list based on your serial number is here

You need part 730982-002 and can get it at ebay or amazon

but not at an hp parts store it seems

the 19.5 is a pretty common adapter.  You might want to take the laptop to a retail store and let them see if it turns on  before buying the adapter.  if it comes up and asks for a bios password then it is not useful unless you can prove ownership. If it asks for a windows password then you can just install a fresh copy of windows.

Another problem might be with what is stored on the hard drive.   You might have to prove the laptop does not belong to you to avoid problems with what the previous owner put on the disk so I would not turn it over to someone who might look at what is there.
