Hello, I have been upgrading my pc and have been on this forum before but have made a slight mistake when buying my materials.
For context, I have a desktop prebuilt pc that I have moved into a new case that I am trying to upgrade rather cheaply. I'm still learning about computers and thought this would be a good opportunity to learn while I fix it up. Unfortunately, after buying the extra ram, graphics card, and power supply, the new power supply with the voltage I need doesn't fit into my motherboard. I just need some help to know if there's a possible solution by hopefully buying an adaptor piece or something else. I don't want to replace the motherboard at all. I would prefer not to return the power supply, but I can. Just a bit stuck.
My pc model is a hp elite desk 800 g2 sff.
Here's the amazon link to the new power supply I bought: Power supply. (Raidmax XT series 400W)
The power supply I currently have is an HP power supply, I couldn't find much on it but the model number is 796350-001 and it produces 200W of power. I need at least 300W of power. I believe the issue is a P2 plug?
