I want to upgrade my GPU, which I understand also requires a power upgrade from my existing 400W's. What are my upgrade options for the power supply (to 500-600W), and then the GPU? I understand power supply may have the more limited options and will subsequently dictate my graphics card options. Thank you.

@ntxspartan,

No worries, you're good!

To play Microsoft Flight Simulator at a solid 1080p as you put it, one of the best GPU options for your HP Envy TE01-1020 (9EF30AAwould be a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 such as this option, powered by a single 8-pin PCIe power cable.  Your current 400-watt power supply would be quite sufficient to power this card. For best value, a GTX 1660 Super or GTX 1660 Ti would be a solid choice for a 1080p budget option, also able to be powered by your 400-watt PSU.

FYI: At this point in time, the latest Nvidia RTX 50xx cards do not appear to be compatible with your PC, in part based on the absence of such cards amongst actual HP System ENVY TE01-1xxx Users as found here.

Apologies ... I didn't realize it wasn't tagged in the comment. It's an Envy TE01-1020 with a 400W power supply (I've seen some comments that suggest I might not need to increase to 500-600 watts). As far as the GPU goes, I essentially want to be able to have a solid 1080p Flight Simulator experience ...
