Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000i (491A7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I'm thinking of upgrading my son's PC graphics card to an RTX 4060. I've been doing some research, and his HP Victus 15L has a 350W plus gold power supply. Since I'm upgrading the graphics card, I thought it would be good to upgrade the power supply to provide more headroom. Currently, it has a GTX 1650 that consumes about 75W with an i5 12400F, 16GB of RAM, and a RENO2 motherboard. My question is, which 550W power supply would fit in that Victus 15L chassis, considering it is a rather small chassis?

@Lopez_,

Unfortunately, your PC only accepts proprietary HP power supplies. So, yes, that is exactly what I am telling you.

With the aforementioned HP 500-watt power supply, you can power a smaller-sized (dual fan) RTX 4060 or an RTX 4060 Ti.

Kind Regards,

@Lopez_,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

What you need is this 500-watt power supply upgrade for your Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000i (491A7AV), which can be purchased with different part numbers: L89233-001 / L89233-005 / L77487-001 / L77487-003 / L81009-800.

It is not clear where you can purchase this power supply in Spain, try eBay-France, UK or AliExpress.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for your response, I found it on AliExpress and eBay. So, are you telling me that I can't opt for anything standard and have to go exclusively with those models you mentioned? The lowest I found is €80 with the references you gave me, with that I could easily buy an 800W one.

I've decided to buy one, exactly this one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186111788076. Below in the description, it gives the reference you gave me: L89233-001.
