Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened my HP M01-F1014 and found a place to put my SSD. This system uses a 256 GB PCIe NVMe for storage, I did find four (4) SALTA ports on the mother board for the data flow, one of which is in use by the ODD, however I can find NO wire, pins, or anything else on the mother board that looks like it would be a source of 5 Volts & 1.0 Amps that the SSD requires.

I was thinking of getting some sort of cable that would allow me to split the power that is going to the ODD. However, I don't think that the power to this drive is the correct voltage.

Any suggestions?

@Dad-Soderberg , welcome to the Community.

The power connector for the SATA SSD would come from the power supply unit (PSU).  You may have to use a splitter to connect it if there isn't a spare connector.

I actually found the four-pin supply next to the feed for the ODD. Would have been nice if this was SOMEWHERE in the HP documentation. Thanks for the advice. After looking there, I decided to take a fourth, fifth, etc. look at the mother board. Thank God for magnifying classes.

Thanks for your help.
