@Mgood2,

 

Zooming out, perhaps you find my closely related HP Pavilion 590-p0030 upgrade project helpful.  In addition to the 500-watt power supplies referenced by our Senior Expert @Paul_Tikkanen, there are other compatible 500-watt power supplies available -I happened to install a 500-watt power supply with p/n: L77487-003 (alternatively: L89233-001).
