Hi guys, I have a HP Pav 570-p054 PC with a 180 W uATX Regular internal power supply.
I'm looking to upgrade the PSU but somewhere I read that sometimes some companies make connectors proprietary to certain models. Is that true?
Also, as for uATX verses ATX is just a question of size? Either will work as long as it fits the case?

The HP 570-p054, as shown here, utilizes a standard ATX 24 pin PSU. Of main concern is the PSIEx16 slot. Attempts to install a dual slot width GPU card must consider the "length" of the card. Long cards will not "seat/lock into place" because longer cards can strike the 24 pin ATX wire bundle.
