HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion TP01-1036

I am trying to upgrade my PSU to 400W+/-  so that I can add better graphics card.  i7-10700 12GB RAM.  Any substitute HP PSUs?

@gmattu , welcome to the Community.

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  There is a 400W (L69242-800) that should be compatible with your motherboard.  Here is a Power Supply Cross Reference Chart that will show you where I got the information: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Knowledge-Base/Power-Supply-Cross-Reference-for-specific-model...

Your model is not listed, but there is a Baker motherboard in the TE01 series.  It has the same processor and memory as your model.  You can order the PSU from HP PartSurfer: https://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=L69242-800

Just click on the box below "Add to Cart" and it will take you step by step through the process.
