Power supply

Purchased a pc from here and the highest watt rating for a powersupply is 500w and I did a evaluation of the power consumption of the pc I ordered. The consumption is between 410w and 480w depending on the motherboard they are using and I don't know which. Should I upgrade my supply to meet the 65% usage everyone suggests by getting a 650w or is the 500w running at 88% at 44w sufficient.

we can't tell you anything if we don't know the model of the computer
if hp does not offer a more powerful power supply, maybe it is not possible to simply replace it
some models are specific to hp and difficult to install another one, see this for example

Thank you for letting me know It may not be modular or anything.. Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0325m. Thats the pc that I purchased. I use to build years agao and don't know what type of motherboard they are using but on the list of modern boards the full pc load is between 410w for the lowest power board and 480 for the highest and don't want the power supply crapping out because of the 65% rule.

for the moment after a quick search I find just this
so the maximum would be 500w here

I do not know if I would find other information , but I doubt the possibilities of replacement

new model, and not possible to say more, the motherboard, is not one of the models of the KB it seems!
