'I have a HP pavilion TP01-2357c. It seems the power supply has died. Can anyone point me to a power upgrade? Its original power supply was part #L7-0042-002.

 

I would like to put an upgraded power supply since the previous one seems to underperform. However I’m having trouble finding a compatible power supply.

You didn't mention what watt PSU you want to install, but here is a discussion regarding a compatible 500W PSU you can upgrade to:

 

TP01-2096 500W PSU upgrade - HP Support Community - 9078099

 

Other PSU options supported for the HP TP01-2000a model series would be these:

Power Supply - GNRC PSU 310W Sirius2 ENT19 Full Range
