I plan to make one last upgrade on this aging workstation
Right now I have a RTX 4060 Ti with those power specs:
| 0 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Off | 00000000:05:00.0 On | N/A |
| 30% 37C P5 13W / 165W | 2217MiB / 16380MiB | 26% Default |
And it is powered with G1 and G2, tied together into an eight pin connector
I'm not going to install anything more powerful, I find it runs very quietly and has the right price / power / heat balance for what I' m doing with it
Now what is the right way to power a second instance of this GPU ?
It really needs 90W peak from the GPU connectors. (165W needed - 75W from the PCIE port)
The Z820 is the 1125W / 220V model.
