Hi @vj271,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer can handle media weights up to 300 gsm, but it depends on the specific card thickness and settings. Generally, HP ENVY series printers support printing on card stock, though some may perform better with lighter weights (often 250 gsm or lower).

For best results when printing on 300 gsm card with the HP ENVY 6020e:

  1. Use the Rear Tray (if available): This is often better suited for heavier media as it provides a straighter path, reducing the risk of jams.
  2. Select the Right Media Setting: Go to your printer settings, select Thick Paper or Card Stock if available, as this adjusts the print settings to handle heavier paper.
  3. Print Slowly: Consider adjusting to a higher quality setting, as this slows down the print speed and may help achieve better results on thick media.

Note that results can vary depending on the card's texture and finish, so a test print is recommended. If the printer struggles to feed the card or results are inconsistent, using a lighter card stock (around 250 gsm) may be a more reliable option.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
