Hello,
I have multiple labs of ProDesk 600 G3s that are refurbished. We are utilizing the m.2 slots with HP EX900 Plus m.2 drives, 256GB.
After imaging the drive, most of the machines fail to boot back to the drive and the drives are totally invisible in UEFI/BIOS.
Additionally, while some do eventually see the drive again, they fail to see a boot device the first time, then after entering a repair menu and back back out, magically it sees the drive and boots successfully.
What gives? I thought for sure using HP drives with HP desktops would be preferred.
The machines in question work prior to inserting these drives, and I purchased the same exact drives last year and they worked with no problem. Purchasing more of the same drives this year results in the above issue. Did something change with these drives on the firmware side?
Thanks.
