HP ProDesk 600 G5 Small Form Factor PC RCTO Base Model
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to replace the existing SK hynix BC501 HFM512GDJTNG-8310A in my HP ProDesk 600 G5 SFF with a larger one. Which one would be compatible and where can I get it then. Can you help me with that?

You should be able to install any brand NVMe SSD you want.

You didn't mention how large a capacity you want to install but this 1 TB drive should work fine and it is reasonably priced.

Crucial P310 SSD 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe, up to 7100 MB/s, Gaming for Laptop and Desktop PC, Int...

There are prices listed for other capacities on the above link.

The drive is PCIe Gen 4.0 and your PC's M.2 SSD slot is Gen 3.0 but nowadays a Gen 4.0 SSD costs the same or less than a Gen 3 SSD.

The Gen 4 SSD will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot which has a maximum transfer rate of 4,000 MBPS.

Below are some links to the service videos for your PC:
