Hi.
I installed a new Seagate Barracuda 2TB internal HD using the available SATA cabel/slot. Unfortunatly the HD will not appear in diskmanagement.

Is there a system limitation I should be aware of? I am grateful for tips solving this problem!

hi

there may be problems with some hdd hard drives, but this will most often be the case with very large hdds, and/or if a model more designed for servers..
If it is not even visible from disk management, it is certainly not recognized by the motherboard!
And to have already seen the case here, sometimes it's just because the sata power cable is not connected
So double check all the connectors
A new defective disc is also an option.
if possible try it with another computer, or usb adapter!
What is the exact model, just in case?
