I have an HP HPE H8-1020
Motherboard :Pegatron Carmel 2AC2
Bios version: Car_716.ROM v7.16
Intel H61 chipset
2.8ghz I7-2600s processor
Windows 10 64 bit
I have an Eyefinity Radeon 6570 gpu installed. I am trying to upgrade it with an XFX radeon Rx 550 gpu and I CANNOT get it to work with this card. The computer will power on but my monitor just says no signal and it appears to not be finishing the process of booting up when it's connected because none of my peripherals light up. Computer works fine with the old card installed so I'm pretty sure it's not an issue with the PCIE x 16 slot. I have tried updating my bios, resetting the cmos using both the battery method and the jumper method. I have read elsewhere in the forums to try disabling secure boot and enabling legacy support in the bios settings but my version of BIOS does not have those options available so that won't work. I have made sure all the connectors in all the slots are clean and I've even tried re-seating my ram in the motherboard. I called XFX tech support and the guy I talked to said that the card IS compatible with the h61 chipset so it should just be plug and play but NOPE. I recently installed a 650w psu which should be more than adequate for the hardware. I bought this computer in 2011 and was hoping with a few upgrades on hardware I might squeeze a few more years out of it before I have to buy a new rig, but right now I'm at the point where the only fix I can see for this issue is pouring gasoline all over this rig, burning it straight to hell and going and getting a new one. Really hoping someone might be able to give me a viable fix for this issue so I'm trying that route before I go the other way with it. Please help. This computer originally came with windows 7 installed so I was wondering if running it in Windows 10 might somehow be part of the problem?

If the old graphics card work's fine, then I believe the XFX is not supported with this computer's specification.
