Today I checked the HP Support Assistant app on my computer for any updates and there was one for "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows 10". So, I ran the update and it was successfully updated with no error messages. Next I ran the Diagnostics app just to see what if anything was new and I noticed that nothing had changed at all on the initial screen and that the version number also remained the same as before the update. Prior to the update the version number was 1.6.1.0. The new update should have changed the version number to 7.5.0.0. So, my question is this, has anyone else experienced this problem and what if anything can I do to get the "Hardware Diagnostics" software up-to-date with the latest version 7.5.0.0. Thanks!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues installing the latest version of hardware diagnostics.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you uninstall the hardware diagnostics installed on your computer and then download and install it from the below link and check.
