Product: Pavilion NH836AV-ABA m9500z
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am attempting to upgrade a old Pavilion NH836AV-ABA m9500z to a samsung 860 evo 500gb ssd I cloned the existing hdd and was getting boot failure I tried wiping it reformatting but to no avail the boot menu would not even recognize the ssd as being plugged in upon looking more into it i noticed that with the current hdd installed it is configured as a ATA i am uncertain if that means this pc is unable to recognize the SATA 3 6gb/s ssd I am at a loss on what steps to take if any to get this working any input would be appreciated thanks.
