Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Two Questions:  1. My rig currently uses a Ryzen 5-2400g CPU which is not Windows 11 compatible.  For both performance and compatibility reasons I'm considering an upgrade to a Ryzen 5-3600g CPU but understand that the new AMD chips may require recent BIOS upgrades.  Can anyone confirm compatibility for a Ryzen 5-3600g with HP's proprietary MB in this rig?  Also, if a bios upgrade is needed, can anyone identify the bios and a source for that flash kit as the HP updates have not been too frequent of late.  Will the standard Wraith cooler fit in this box?   Inquiry 2 is just a call for an affirmation that the Ryzen GPU cannot be used/was not implemented or supported on this MB or whether there is a way (maybe at the BIOS level) to turn it on?  Thanks.

@Rumblebuffin7 -- see: UserBenchmark: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0xxx Compatible Components

for a list of CPUs commonly found inside your computer.

Run Windows Update. Below the list of available updates, there is a link to the Microsoft tool that lists all the issues with your system that prevent Windows 11 from being installed.  Run that tool.

Note that Microsoft will support Windows 10 until October 2025. After that date, replace your computer (and its "well-aged" disk-drives).

Is your current processor the only impediment to having a computer that is compatible with Windows 11?

That Microsoft "PC Health Tool" can answer this question.
