Hi, I have a Pavilion 590-p0053w and I'd like to upgrade the CPU to an Intel Core i5-9400f (desktop processor 6 cores 4.1 GHz Turbo withOUT graphics).
Does this sound like workable upgrade?
Thanks very much!

If the computer is in its original configuration, namely no graphics card, and only 8 GB of memory, replacing the processor is not the priority, in my personal opinion!
You should rather consider going to 16 GB of memory, and if possible install at least a small video card!
