Hi.

A DualCore Intel Pentium D 820, 2800 MHz (14 x 200) processor is installed.  Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq dc7600 small form factor motherboard.

Intel Lakeport-G i945G Motherboard Chipset.

BIOS version 786D1 01.03. Release date 05/18/2005.

4 GB DDR2 memory.

Comfortable work with graphics and video is required. 

 

What is the fastest and most productive processor that can be installed?

The Pentium D 945 would be the best if you don't need Virtualization.

 

The Pentium D 950 if you do.

will the Intel Xeon E5450 processor (3.0GHz/12 M/1333), close to the LGA775 Core 2 Quad Q9650 processor (LGA 775 motherboard without adapter), be suitable?

Only the processors listed in that document I posted will work.

 

The PC won't even support the Intel Core 2 Duo Conroe processors such as the E6300.
