The motherboard I have is Base-Board Manufacturer: HP Base-Board Product: 8643 Base-Board Version: SMVB with a Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics, 3600 MHz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s). The Operating System was originally Windows 10 but had the option to upgrade to Windows 11 Home for free and is now running Windows 11Home.
I want to upgrade the processor to an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics.
Will the motherboard processor upgradeable and will it accept the upgrade? Will the Ryzen 5 work on this motherboard?
Please Help.

Look, based on what your processor preference is, what I would do is the following: the integrated Radeon RX Vega 11 graphics is identical to what an inexpensive GT 1030 (30-watt TDP) has to offer:
The GT 1030 can be powered by as low as a 180-watt power supply and would allow you to use a Ryzen 7 3700X. You can purchase a GT 1030 for as cheap as $45 via this trusted eBay Seller: GIGABYTE GeForce GT 1030 2GB DDR4 Graphics Card (GV-N1030D4-2GL) 889523013366 | eBay.

Welcome to our HP community forum!
The best processor that would be compatible with your HP Desktop M01-F0014 (6YQ58AA) as fitted with the Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643), would be a Ryzen 7 3700X (8-Cores, 16-Threads, 3.60 up to 4.40 GHz).
No, the Ryzen 5 5600G is not compatible with your PC.

the Ryzen 7 3700X (8-Cores, 16-Threads, 3.60 up to 4.40 GHz). does not have Radeon Graphics with it.
My current Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3200G with Radeon Vega Graphics, 3600 MHz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) max 4.0GHz. I would like to upgrade the processor. I found the Ryzen 5 5600g with the Radeon Graphics that was similar to the original.
Is there a Ryzen 7 with a Radeon Graphics with the processor that will work on my mother board? or similar processor that will work?

I'm surprised that you don't have a discrete graphics card, but that aside, the best "G" Ryzen processor (with integrated graphics) is the Ryzen 5 3400G (3.70 GHz up to 4.20 GHz, 4-Cores, 8-Threads) with Radeon RX Vega 11 integrated graphics.
There are no Ryzen "7" processors with integrated graphics compatible with your PC.

Thank you... I apologize for omitting whether i had a graphics card or not. I appreciate the information, and I greatly appreciate your help. I just want to make sure I can upgrade the processor with the graphics with the processor. I needed to know an upgraded processor that will work on the HP motherboard (8643). I will look into that one but if there is another with 3.60 up to 4.40 GHz or approximately the same range i would appreciate it. once again thank you

Thank you for everything I will buy both, AMD Ryzen & 3700x and the GeForce GT103. I will replace the items in my HP m01-F1014 and consider it upgraded. Thank you for both items and their compatibility with my motherboard (8643). thank you
