Solved!

Processor

HP 8200 Elite SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

The issue is specific in Adobe Photoshop. When I work with the tools the screen keeps flashing. Hard to work I wrote Adobe forum submitting a screen capture video showing the flashing. The tech folks said that it was possibly the processor.  What do I need to fix the situation with the processor? Do I need to adjust the boot recommendations to adapt to the processor? Do I do an adjustment within Windows 10? The overall feeling is that I need to do something even an upgrade may be of use.

Hi:

The i7-2600 processor is the best one HP offered in the 8200 Elite model series.  There are none better you can install.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install a supported low profile graphics card and see if that resolves the problem.

The onboard Intel HD 2000 graphics isn't really suitable to run Adobe Photoshop because the drivers are out of date.

Install a nVidia GT 710 low profile graphics adapter.  Nvidia still supports that GPU with the latest W10 drivers and it only draws 19W of power, so it will work with the 240W power supply your PC comes with.

I have the Nvidia GT 730 graphics card in my HP 8200 Elite CMT and it works great.   The CMT has the 320W power supply which is why I can run the more powerful card.
