HP Recommended
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Processor AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 B24 Processor 3.00 GHz and want another processor to install and be able to run win 11. Anyone know what type of processor I need to replace the one I have now.

There aren't any processors you can install in your PC to have it meet Microsoft's minimum W11 AMD processor requirements.

 

Your PC doesn't meet the other W11 hardware requirements of:

 

Having a UEFI BIOS

Supporting Secure Boot

Having a TPM 2.0 security device.

 

You can try upgrading to W11 using one of the many different W11 hardware check bypass methods such as what is shown in this video.
