I am about to upgrade to a Prodesk 600 G4 and I wonder if I can put a nvme gen 4 ssd, to use the higher speed of those ssd's?

I searched everywhere but can't find any answer.

thanks in advance

Gunnar

Hi, Gunnar:

Your PC's Intel® Q370 chipset's PCIe generation is Gen 3.0.

Intel Q370 Chipset Product Specifications

So, a Gen 4 NVMe SSD will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.

Specs on the Prodesk 600 G4 model series.  The chipset model is listed on page 10.
