Hey, I've got a Proliant ML350p Gen8 and a Proliant ML350e Gen8 was wanting to move parts from the 350e into the 350p.

Specifically I was hoping to move the SATA slots (product code: HP 677433-001) as the 350p only has SAS drive bays currently.

I just wanna know if I can do this without giving up the SAS drives and if so what I need to plug where as I'm kinda unfamiliar with this board.

Thanks

Hi:

HP split into two companys back in 2014.

HP supports PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.

HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and enterprise storage.

I recommend you post your question on the HPE community forum -- Proliant servers section...

Hey,

I didn't realise that happened, thanks for letting me know. I'll make a post there now.

Thanks
