I have this pro desk 600 g3 mt, I’m getting an rtx2060 to put in it and I need to upgrade the psu but I have no idea what’s compatible and what would work. does anyone know any good budget psu (500w+) that would work?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

The HP ProDesk 600 G3 MT was one of my upgrade projects, and I later switched out the G3 motherboard for a G4 motherboard.

 

Anyway, a compatible 500-watt power supply has part number: 901759-013 or a 650-watt power supply with p/n: L36049-003 or L57253-003.  In both cases, make sure that you buy the smaller-sized power supply model -meaning, having the same dimensions as your current, stock power supply.
