Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dusting the inside of the case, I somehow managed to pull a single black wire loose from the motherboard.   it is a very thin wire, the thinnest inside the box, that is tied to the bundle of wires that are attached to the hard drive and to the front USB ports.   The end of this thin black wire not attached to the motherboard is attached to a brass rocker switch located behind the black plastic cover on the front that appears to be there to sense whether the front panel is installed correctly.    The end that is loose has a very small, round brass end which looks like it should connect to something.  I can't find anything that looks like a fit for this wire...   Any clues, pictures or videos that you can point me to would be most helpful.

Hi:

From your description, you disconnected the wireless antenna cable from the wifi card inside your PC.

Somewhere on the motherboard there is a PCI express mini card slot with the wireless card in it.

This is where the small rounded end of the cable snaps onto...the round, gold terminal above where labeled as 1 in the illustration below.
