Hi recently I tried upgrade a storage capacity of my pc but a have a issue.

I bought a bay and a satã cable for connect the hdd but I can not power the hdd, which cable I need?

I think we are having a communications problem.

"I have one of this and can not connect them to my motherboard"  The picture I included above - that splitter ( or Y-connection) goes into the power lead to the existing hard drive to give you an additional SATA power connection, so you can connect the new hard drive, also.

The picture of the black connector on the motherboard does appear to be a power connection for a hard drive, if you have the adapter for that connector to a SATA power connection.  Then that can work.

The SATA power cable connects to the power supply.  There should be an available power connection.  See this for what to look for

Thanks for a reply but my psu don’t have any free connector.

The desktop is a Hp M01-F2009NP with a proprietary psu and a Erica 5 motherboard.

If there is no spare SATA power connection, then you can use a Y-cable or "splitter" to provide the additional power connection.   Since there is an existing SATA drive, use the power cable on that and insert this splitter in that power lead.

I have one of this and can not connect them to my motherboard, I have also on Y to molex and no connection.

My motherboard just have a free 4 pin connector and one small ph2.0 connector with a cable to the dvd driver.
