Hello, I've just been gifted this HP 400 G6 MT for free. It has an i7-9700 but only integrated graphics. I've tried gaming a bit, but the iGPU is really bad. So, would it be a good idea to put an RTX 3050 LP in it?

@1ddev,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Your HP ProDesk 400 G6 Microtower either came with a 180-watt, 250-watt, or a 310-watt power supply. You should be fine to install/power a low-profile RTX 3050 (70-watt TDP) if you got the 250-watt or the 310-watt power supply.

If you got the 180-watt power supply (look at your power supply's label), you should upgrade your power supply.  If this is the case, let me know and I will provide the part numbers for a power supply upgrade.

Kind Regards,
