Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi i have 2gb ram in my Hp pavillion 15 notebook pc and i want to add 8 gb so it will become (2gb+8gb)= 10 gb will it will be compatible with it

What is your machine ? I know machines work with 2+4 but I have not seen 2+8. Why your machine only has 2GB of RAM in the first place ? Must be a special machine. Again, what is it ?

first my laptop was 2gb+2gb =4gb and i removed 2gb from a slot and i want to add 8 gb then it will become 2+8. So i want to know that will hp pavillion 15 notebook pc will be compatible with this
