I hope so too. I will tinker around and try to install latest BIOS if it doesn't.

"Format it with the FAT32 file system". Does it have to be FAT32. I may have NTFS or whatever that is called. I think FAT32 is limited to 4gb per unit saved. I would rather not have to waste a flash drive if possible, though I guess I could reformat it unless that is an issue with some flash drives. FAT32 is the older code though that is more widely used, of deeper in the system, I read somewhere. I remember back when it was 'the new thing', though I'm not a programmer.

I feel I may be being a little 'greedy for speed and performance' both in the level of graphics card I am trying to use and the not wanting to wait around to hone things down further. I merely hope I have no problem returning it and getting the ones you suggested.

Yes, you have to format the drive with the FAT32 file system.

You will be copying DOS files to the drive and DOS has no clue what the NTFS is.

You will not be wasting a flash drive.

Once you do the BIOS update, you can reformat the drive back to NTFS.

I've used the same flash drive many times to update the BIOS's on my HP business desktop PC's and I have always been able to return it to NTFS afterward.

Thanks yet again. I don't have a 'secure service' vpn and I can't access some of those sites that deal with downloading the updates to BIOS. But I have no problem getting into BIOS off of start-up, been there on older computers many times.

I take it, from the sound of silence, that you are not an avid gamer. But this is Daggerfall rmastered:

This is Star Wars Jedi Knight Dark Forces 2

This is the Star Wars 'movie' you never saw, it was a few cutscenes and a video game:

Yes, you are quite right.

I don't know a thing about gaming.

The one thing I do admire about video games is the really detailed graphics, so I can understand the need for having a decent video card--certainly one that is better than the antiquated onboard Intel graphics the 8000 Elite has.

I can't believe the graphics on those xBox video gaming machines.

I only use PC's for browsing the internet, e-mail, spreadsheets and whatnot.

My love for PC's is that I want them to run at their very best for what they are.

I installed both ram and the graphics card and both are running. Thanks for all the help!
