HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i (3Y3Q7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

This is my first experience with HP, I typically buy Dell, and now I see why. The support options are crap. In any event, I recently bought an Envy Desktop. It comes with 16Gb of ddr4-3200 mhz ram. My question is, can I replace that ram with 64Gb of DDR5, 4400 MHz, Dual-channel ram?

Thanks

hi

the reference does not identify the model
see if it is this motherboard

  • Dual channel memory architecture (One DIMM per channel)
  • Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
  • Supports up to PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200) based on models
  • Supports 8 GB and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 128 GB (unbuffered) with 32 GB DIMMs on 64-bit computers

" with 64Gb of DDR5, "

do you need that much RAM, not sure
check

16 gb enough for many uses, 32 gb more than enough
