RAM Slots ... ?

Hi Folks.

So I decided to upgrade the computer I've identified here by doubling the RAM from 16 to 32

I used Speccy to determine the # of available slots, identify compatible RAM, etc. It shows this:

Total memory slots 4

Used memory slots 2

Free memory slots 2

Memory

Type DDR4

Size 16384 MBytes

Channels # Dual

DRAM Frequency 1330.5 MHz

CAS# Latency (CL) 19 clocks

RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 19 clocks

RAS# Precharge (tRP) 19 clocks

Cycle Time (tRAS) 43 clocks

Command Rate (CR) 2T

So I ordered 2 8GB sticks. And upon opening the case I see there are only two slots, not four!

Am I nuts? Are the other two hiding somewhere/not with the first two?

Hi:

I don't trust software programs to determine the number of memory slots because sometimes they pick up false readings from the motherboard.

It shows that there are only two memory slots and what the memory upgrade information is.

You can install 32 GB, but it has to be installed as 2 x 16 GB of memory.
