Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
One of the two RAM sockets on my HP Envy desktop, TE01-1xxx has failed. I cannot boot with 2x16 gigs of Corsair LPX Vengeance RAM installed. I hear and see a distress signal: - - - -- -- (dot dot dot dash dash) that repeats. I can boot by removing the RAM from the failed socket. My Envy is upgraded with: the CPU is an i7 10700F; an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti GPU; a 500 watt PSU My OS in Win 11 Pro. I have two questions: 1 ) Can the RAM sockets be replaced? 2) If I must replace the MoBo, which HP MoBo should I buy? NOTE:. I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to a HP GTX 3060. Please Advise
