Dear Community
Im trying to upgrade my HPZ240 Workstation with new RAM:
Mainboard: HP 802F
CPU: Intel® Xeon® Processor E3-1240 v5
Old RAM: 2x HMA41GU7AFR8N-TF (2x 8GB)
New RAM: 4x M391A2K43BB1-CRCQ (4x 16GB)
When changing the RAM Modules and restarting the Workstation I get 3 long *beeps* while the power button is blinking red. After doing this twice the Machine goes silent and doesn't do anything / not booting. (As far as I understand this should signal "RAM compatibility or installation issues"). I already tried reinstalling the old RAM Modules and start the system with them, which is working totally fine.
That's my current situation dear community and I don't get anywhere further. Could you help me out?
1. As far as I checked and understand the compatibility of the new Modules everything should look fine (Max RAM amount, ECC compatible, correct RAM type), did I missed something here?
2. Are there any changes I need to make in the BIOS (updated to the newest version already) in order to prepare the system for the RAM Change? (as far as I know its "plug and play" mechanism)
3. If there is no compatibility issues what further steps could I undertake to find the underlying issues? (1. Im going to try testing each Module on its on and 2. try booting from an usb drive with memtest86 but not sure if this would work.)
Thanks for your support in advance!

If you're experiencing a RAM upgrade failure, ensure that the RAM is compatible with your system and properly seated in the slots. Sometimes, power-related issues could also interfere with upgrades, so check if your pwr-adpt is functioning correctly. You might also want to update your BIOS to support the new memory. Lastly, verify that the maximum RAM capacity of your device hasn't been exceeded.
