Product specifications
I tried adding a 16GB 1RX4 PC4-2400T-RC1-11 RAM but my Desktop starts beeping and blinking red.
I can't even put only the new RAM in, so my conclusion:
The RAM isn't compatible with the motherboard.
But why? I can't find any hints?

Hi:
Your PC only supports non-ECC memory.
You want a memory chip like this one:
The 3200 MHz memory will automatically bridge to 2666 Mhz.

I didn't see anything on any HP advertising, which is unusual.
HP Elite 800 G4 Business Desktop Business PCs
It just indicated DDR4-2666 MHz.
I just happen to know that no HP Elitedesk PC supports ECC memory.
Only most of the HP business workstation desktop PC's support ECC memory.
The service manual indicates non-ECC memory.
