Hello,

 

I hope somebody can help me. I bought my Omen 45L a year ago. it is still under warranty for 2 more years. I have always had issues with the RAM it seems. the screen randomly freezes and I have to forcefully shut it down by holding the power off button for a few seconds. I tried reinstalling windows, that didn't work also. I done windows memory diagnostic test and indeed, it seems to be a hardware issue with the ram. Is there any fix to this or I must call HP for an engineer to come and change the RAM?

Yes, do a warranty request since your PC is in warranty and HP hardware diagnostics is flagging the memory.

 

Start the warranty process Here.

 

HP would replace any faulty memory modules.
