i recently wanted to update my graphic cards (rx6600) but it kept freezing my pc after installing the driver.
so i looked it up and many suggested to rest my mobo/bios by removing CMOS for 5 min. i did that and after that i had few issues but i got them fixed. after a while i noticed my ram usage is sky high so i went to task manger to check for whats causing the problem and there it only showed me that i only have 8gb ram (i have to 2x8gb) at first i thought my ram is dead , so i swapped them with older RAMs i had (2x4gb) and it showed me only 4gb ram available. so i figured its one of the slots that causing the problem i was wondering if i could fix or should i just get a new mobo ?(i really dont want to change mobo. i just bought a new psu for the mobo(erica 3) its a 4pin i cant use it on other mobo brand ) btw i have hp tgo1-1811no.

Greetings @Ervida
Welcome back to the Forum.
I see you now have a RAM problem.
Did you fix the graphics card issue?
Reset the BIOS to defaults after installing the 8 GB memory modules.
You can verify RAM capacity and memory slot activity using CPU-Z (Zip version) available at this Site.
Run the x64 version. Select the "SPD" tab. You can check each memory slot to see what is happening.
i would also swap the two 8 GB modules in each memory slot (and swap the two 4 GB modules) to see if the problem stays with the memory slot or moves with the memory module.
Clean the memory slot with a Dust Buster and use Isopropyl alcohol (high alcohol content) to clean the memory slot.
You might have to shop for the Erica3 MB on eBay. I can't locate your TG01-1811no PC using Denmark at HP PartSurfer.
