Hello,
I have an HP Omen Desktop that came with 8gb of ram (1x8) and I upgrade to 16gb of ram. The ram i installed is Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2x8gb, 16gb 3000MHz. I removed the one ram stick that it came with PC and inserted the Corsair two ram sticks and the PC worked fine. I just bought another 8bg of ram similar to the one I removed that came with it. When I installed the two ram sticks labeled Samsung 8gb 1Rx8 PC4-2666V-UA-11 with the 2 sticks from Corsair the machine would not boot. The screen stayed black. What happened?

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
Motherboard manufacturers recommend using memory kits where all sticks of RAM have the same density, timings and clock speed.
Try the Samsung memory by itself.
You should have bought more of the same Corsair memory that works with your PC now.
