HP EliteOne 800 G3 23.8-inch Non-Touch All-in-One PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer is really slow but if I close apps and restart it works ok.

I believe if I upgrade the RAM memory from the 8GB installed to 32GB (2 x16GB) this should solve the issue.

I'm trying to find out what RAM in need to purchase as have been given conflicting information.

I have been told 16GB DDR4 2400 MHZ SODIMM i what I need to get by one place and the other DDR4 PC4-19200  - 2400MHX Non-ECC SODIMM.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also if it is as simple as one place told me in that you open up the back of the computer take out the 8GB stick and then just plug in the 2 x 16GB sticks and all good to go.

It seems to simple.  Is what I have been told correct or is there more that needs to be done other than take out and replace.

There is also this service manual...

You need non-ECC memory.

This should be compatible memory for your PC if it is available in Australia.

DDR4-2400

Crucial 16GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM | CT16G4SFD824A | Crucial.com

DDR4-3200 (may be cheaper/easier to find nowadays).

Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial.com

The DDR4-3200 memory will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz.
