Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there were instructions available for upgrading the RAM on my HP All-in-One 24-dp0014 PC ?
It may just be a very simple screw-driver operation, but I was wondering if there were concrete instructions available, that way I reduce the likelihood of error during the procedure.
Thanks in advance

Hi:
There is a maintenance and service guide for the Intel based models.
HP All-in-One PC 24-dp0000wi - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support
The title of the manual indicates that is for the HP 200 G4 22 All-in-One Business PC, so it is probably similar in design to your PC.

You're very welcome.
The link to the support page and the link to the manual work fine for me.
The manual is too large a file size for me to attach as it exceeds the 5 MB HP forum attachment size.
Here is the direct link to the service manual if you couldn't get to that one.

Greetings,
I went ahead and followed up with the guide, and although it was useful for opening the computer, I could not locate the RAM slots, which means that maybe my computer is not upgradable?
Running the command "wmic MEMORYCHIP get BankLabel, DeviceLocator, Capacity" on command prompt gives the following results:
BankLabel Capacity DeviceLocator
P0 CHANNEL A 4294967296 DIMM 0
P0 CHANNEL B 8589934592 DIMM 1
I went ahead and registered my PC, but HP doesn't have the user guide available, so I'm kind of stuck here?
To add to the confusion, when run the command "wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices" is gives the following results:
MaxCapacity MemoryDevices
33554432 2
33554432 is roughly equal to 32gbs of RAM, and I have 12 GB of RAM installed.
I couldn't locate the RAM slots, so why does it say that the computer can support 32 GB of RAM?
It would be amazing if the guide for my PC is available but it isn't, is there any way that it could become available?
I keep trying to access the user guide, but when I click on my computer, the HP website says:
"Product information and associated accessories are currently unavailable. Please check back later. Here is a link to our accessories category page."

Hi,
I followed the instructions, and while it helped the to remove the cover of the computer, it did not help with the installation of the RAM, since I could not locate the RAM slots.
I've looked for a guide for a guide to upgrade the RAM for my specific model, which is HP All-in-One 24-dp0014 PC , but it's not available. I've looked at all the guides provided when registering the computer to the HP website, but none of the guides provide RAM upgrade information.
I suppose I have to contact HP?

Sorry that you weren't able to find where the memory is located.
It must be hidden underneath a cover or something.
I have looked online for relevant videos and none of them were for your PC's model series and all of then showed the memory was visible after exposing the motherboard, so I guess you will have to contact HP.
The specs indicate that the memory is removable/upgradable, so it has to be in there someplace.
